President's end of year message

Dear AFREhealth Colleague,

It gives me great pleasure to   reach out to you as we near the end of the year 2021 and prepare to enter a new year. At this time of the year, our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made our success possible. We appreciate your support and participation in AFREhealth activities throughout the year.

Amendment of Organisation Name

Dear AFREhealth Colleague,

Kindly, we bring to the notice of the AFREhealth Community that following the resolution of the Annual General Meeting on 30 November, 2021, the name of the Organization will be amended to include the suffix “Limited By Guarantee”.

This is in accordance with the requirement of the new Companies ACT 2019 (ACT 992) that all Private Companies Limited By Guarantee must either have LBG or Limited By Guarantee as the new suffix.

AFREhealth has thus amended its name to African Forum for Research and Education in Health Limited By Guarantee.

This change will reflect on all official documents.

Thank you
