AFREhealth leadership, in collaboration with UCSF, is developing a Moodle type learning management system (LMS) to be used by all AFREhealth member institutions. Although already included in AFREhealth’s strategic plan, the LMS became an urgent priority with the challenges brought on by the Covid19 pandemic. The AFREhealth LMS server is currently hosted by UKZN, its configurations are completed, and STRIPE HIV modules are being uploaded on the site. This webinar introduced the vision for the use of the AFREhealth LMS and highlighted innovations in remote and e-learning developed by STRIPE schools. Experiences of piloting a STRIPE HIV course on an LMS; and a preview of STRIPE HIV module/s on AFREhealth’s new LMS was also shared.
