AFREhealth wins first grant

Congratulations to the writing team who consisted of Nelson Sewankambo, James Hakim, Jean B. Nachega, Abigail Kazembe, Judy Khanyola, Fatima Suleman, Onesmus Gachuno, Peter Donkor, Moses Simuyemba, Elsie Kiguli-Malwadde and Onike Rodrigues; and all who contributed in one way or another (both technical and administratively) to put this grant together.
Working closely with incoming AFREhealth President Professor Marietjie de Villiers and its executive committee, Professor Nelson Sewankambo, lead Principal Investigator (PI) as well as co-PIs Professor Prisca Adejumo, Professor Jean B. Nachega and Professor Fatima Suleman, are committed to the success of this AFREhealth inaugural grant. The team will work with the active contribution of the AFREhealth Governing Council, program faculty, participants, members, and our many partners and collaborators who supported AFREhealth in its application.
