The Research Support Centre Technical Working Group is platform for collaboration, learning and networking for people working in institutional research structures to enhance the quantity and quality of research through focused strengthening of research support. The structures may include Research Administration/Management/Support Centres/Units or health research institutes/units or programs. These structures may be at central, faculty or departmental levels. Key to the RSC TWG is to ensure that research organization and implementation is effectively and efficiently supported within institutions.
Thus, the institutions will be able to quickly adapt to the ever-changing research and funding environments; find mechanisms of sustaining research management functions; promote research management career pathways and strengthen the Monitoring and Evaluation of RSCs to inform overall performance and future directions. This is open to research managers, research administrators, program and project coordinators, finance personnel, M&E officers etc. Researchers are also encouraged to participate in order to cascade knowledge and skills of research management into research programs to enhance efficiency and quality of research process.
