Review Criteria AFREhealth Small Grant - 2023 (Cohort II)

Supporting Health Professions Interprofessional Research and Education in African Institutions Using Funds from NIH Grant R25TW011217-4

The applications responding to the above call will be reviewed according the following criteria:

  1. Innovation: What are the innovative elements in the grant application and how are they well described and justified?
  2. The approach: The approach and methods to address the objectives should be clearly described and appropriate to achieving the stated objectives.
  3. Feasibility: The application should show feasibility to be implemented satisfactorily in a period of one year from the award date and a final report provided within three months after completion of the award period.
  4. Interprofessional and multi-institutional focus: This call is intended to promote interprofessional and multi-institutional collaboration.
  5. The quality and appropriateness of the proposed implementing team are well aligned to the project objectives and methods.
