Funding Support for Health Professions Interprofessional Research and Education in African Institutions from NIH Grant 5R25TW011217-04
Background
In 2022/2023, the African Forum for Research and Education in health (AFREhealth) issued the first cohort of the small grant award activities of the NIH grant 5R25TW011217-03 held by the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), at Makerere University. In support of its mission (see https://afrehealth.org/about/about-afrehealth), AFREhealth has planned to continue with a similar small grant funding opportunity in the 4th NIH grant year to support members of AFREhealth institutions to advance interprofessional health education and research.
