Abigail Kazembe

Abigail Kazembe is an experienced midwifery educator with a PhD in Public Health Sciences. She is an Associate Professor at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, Lilongwe, Malawi, where she has previously held the positions of Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Midwifery, Neonatal and Reproductive Studies, and Head of Midwifery Department. Abigail Kazembe is the past President of the African Forum for Research and Education (AFREHealth). Her research areas include HIV/AIDS, Midwifery, newborn health, adolescent health, sexual and reproductive health, health professions education, and COVID-19.
