Notice is hereby given of the election of members of the Governing Council of AFREhealth for a 2-year term from August 2024 to July 2026.
The candidates must be nominated/proposed by an AFREhealth member in good standing and endorsed by a current AFREhealth Governing Council member in good standing.

The eligibility criteria are outlined as follows:
1.    Member in good standing at the time of nomination
2.    Willingness to dedicate time to AFREhealth and Governing Council activities
3.    Demonstrated knowledge or ability in one or more of the following areas:
       i.    Fundraising
       ii.   Attracting members and partners for the organization
       iii.  Strategic planning      
       iv.   Leadership
4.     At least fifty percent (50%) attendance at regular scheduled diarized meetings of the Council during the tenure (in the case of current Council members standing re-election).
5.    Candidates must submit:
       i.   A recent electronic passport-sized photograph (jpeg/png format)
       ii.  A completed nomination form (form attached)
       iii.  A brief bio sketch (not exceeding 250 words)
       iv.  A brief statement showcasing engagement with AFREhealth, including activities and structures he/she has been involved in, along with reasons why he/she would be an excellent candidate        for the Governing Council and how he/she will contribute expertise to AFREhealth (not exceeding 400 words).
