Dr Thandie Sharon Mwalukomo is a senior lecturer and acting head of Medicine Department at the School of Medicine and Oral Health, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences in Malawi. She is an internal Medicine Physician, a fellow of the East, Central South African College of Physicians and also has a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

Her areas of research interest are medical education, infectious diseases and HIV. She has published in peer reviewed journals. She serves as the chair of Education and Training Committee of the Medical Council of Malawi. She was principal investigator in the Malawi STRIPE-HIV project.
