Francis Omaswa is the Executive Director of the African Center for Global Health and Social Transformation (ACHEST), Chancellor of Soroti University in Uganda.
He was Director General of Health Services in the Ministry of Health in Uganda,Chancellor of Busitema, University, Uganda, President, African Platform on Human Resources for Health, Special Adviser to the World Health Organization, founding Executive Director of the Global Health Workforce Alliance (GHWA) and serves on International Committees and Boards. He is a graduate of Makerere Medical School and has qualifications in Surgery, Health professionals education and health services management
