Dr. (Mrs.) Joan Hannah Shepherd is the Principal of the National School of Midwifery and a Senior Nurse-Midwife Educator at the PCM in Freetown. She is also an Associate Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Sierra Leone.
Joan holds a PhD in Nursing Philosophy and MSc Nursing, (Midwifery/ Maternal and Child Health) and a Fellow of the African Honors Society for Nurses and has over 40+ Years (Pre-Service - Post service).
